In Fulshear, TX, SYNLawn San Antonio had the opportunity to lend their hand in completing the installation of Dell Webb’s brand-new 10,200 sq ft 18-hole mini-golf experience with our San Antonio, TX putting green turf. This project features three unique varieties of artificial turf, including SYNGreen 326, SYNAugustine X47, and SYNRye 200. The course additionally includes nine custom fabricated dart boards for guests to enjoy. The Dell Webb course features ultra-realistic SYNLawn putting green turf that provides the superior durability and performance that you would expect from a professional full-sized golf course.
At SYNLawn San Antonio, we work closely with commercial clients to provide them with golf greens that will last for decades without traditional maintenance and is perfect for all ages and skill levels. Our team utilized three unique artificial grass solutions for this project: SYNGreen 326 for the putting surface, SYNAugustine to incorporate taller rough, and SYNRye 200 for the white bunker turf. These three work in combination to replicate the appearance and behaviors of real golf grass and obstacles for a truly authentic experience. In addition, the San Antonio golf turf used for this installation incorporates a few of our exclusive technologies.

Super Yarn™ Technology

Super Yarn provides a powerful combination of antimicrobial, antistatic, and IR reflectivity components. It helps to eliminate 99% of bacteria from surfaces, prevents static build-up and friction, and does not allow for faded turf fibers year-round. Heatblock™ Technology
We know that golfers are enthusiastic about their favorite sport so we wanted to design turf for them so that they would be able to play comfortably – even during the hottest parts of the year. Our HeatBlock technology helps keep surfaces from absorbing heat from consistent sunlight and is scientifically proven to keep surfaces up to 20% cooler than competing golf green brands.
Enviroloc+™ Backing System
To further lock in the longevity of your installation, we utilize our specially designed EnviroLoc+ backing system, which secures turf fibers. This prevents shedding and shift on impact from heavy foot traffic or constant golf swings. This makes it perfect for commercial mini-golf. It is designed with eco-friendly materials, including sugar cane and soybean oil, and replaces 60% of petroleum-based components, making it eligible for USDA certification. In addition, EnviroLoc+ provides a maximum drainage rate of 1,200 inches per hour to make surfaces usable even after rainfall.

Commercial artificial grass installations of any kind are visited by hundreds to thousands daily in San Antonio, Texas, and that makes upholding safety standards that much more important. As a result, at SYNLawn San Antonio, we are proud to have installed IPEMA-certified and ASTM Class A Fire-Rated golf turf for Dell Webb. This means that we have independently laboratory tested and burn-tested our synthetic grass to protect against common injuries and help prevent the spread of fires.
